A Responsive Website for a Boutique Jewellery Brand
eCommerce B2C Web Site Design
Agency: Wolfe Design Group | my role: Web Designer
I developed the e-commerce website for Margo Manhattan Jewelers entirely from the ground up. This included full-stack implementation, visual design, and layout of product catalog pages featuring collections such as Peace, Petra, High Spirit, and The Vault.
I also produced the promotional campaign video showcasing Margo and her new boutique—handling the art direction, cinematography, and editing—with all post-production completed using Adobe Creative Cloud tools for seamless editing and retouching.

The design process began with establishing a clean, elegant layout that reflects the brand’s sophisticated aesthetic. A key task was organizing numerous collections and product categories (e.g., rings, bracelets, necklaces, philanthropy pieces) into a responsive navigation system, ensuring users can easily explore Collections, Jewelry types, About, Press, and Philanthropy pages.
For the homepage, I integrated a campaign video section, delivering both brand storytelling and visual engagement. Adobe Creative Cloud—specifically Premiere Pro and Photoshop—was essential in editing video footage and enhancing brand imagery through retouching.

The site was built with performance and accessibility in mind, including keyboard navigation support as suggested by the site’s structure (use tab to navigate through the menu items) and inclusion of metadata for SEO and social sharing. I also implemented footer links and social icons (Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest) for brand connectivity
margo-manhattan.
In sum, the design combined functional user flows, visual elegance, modular component architecture, and polished media—all driven by best practices in e-commerce and brand storytelling.

I crafted product listing templates featuring high-quality thumbnail images, quick-view popovers, and real-time pricing information to streamline the browsing experience. Design consistency was reinforced by using modular CSS and scalable components for featured collections like High Spirit and Spencer’s Selects.
Promotional Video Production for Margo Manhattan
A central feature of Margo Manhattan’s e-commerce site
is the promotional video introducing the brand’s new boutique space and jewelry line. The video was conceived as both a storytelling piece and a visual anchor for the site’s homepage. Its primary purpose was to capture the essence of Margo’s artistic vision while simultaneously presenting the boutique as a luxury destination.
The video was executed through a collaborative process with Margo’s direct input guiding the creative direction. From the outset, she emphasized the need to communicate elegance, movement, and intimacy—elements that reflect the spirit of her jewelry. To achieve this, the shoot was structured around natural interactions within the boutique setting, with Margo herself introducing select pieces and narrating their design philosophy. This ensured the video communicated authenticity while highlighting the craftsmanship of her work.
From a production standpoint, the project encompassed pre-planning, cinematography, and post-production editing. I oversaw the full shoot, managing camera placement, lighting design, and on-set composition to balance the architectural beauty of the store with the fine detail of the jewelry. Each sequence was shot to emphasize both the personality of the designer and the tactile quality of her creations. Adobe Creative Cloud was used extensively in post-production—Premiere Pro for editing, After Effects for subtle transitions, and Photoshop/Lightroom for color grading and retouching. The result was a polished video with a cinematic feel that complemented the brand’s high-end positioning.
By incorporating Margo’s input during shooting and editing stages, the final piece not only aligned with her creative intent but also provided the website with a visually compelling medium to engage new customers. As a design task, the video integrated art direction, narrative framing, technical production, and post-production editing, demonstrating how multimedia can enhance usability and storytelling within an e-commerce platform.
